Five nights in Freddy's is a highly-acclaimed indie point and click adventure game produced and released by Scott Cawthon of Fullbright. It is his fourth installment from the Five Nights At Freddy's series. This time around, you will find 3 teenagers - Jason (Dylan Minnette), Billy (Ben Myers), and Freddy (Nathan Fillion) who have only gotten a job at the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza outlet in Fazbear City. The first night, they are about to go on a visit to the playground in which Freddy runs his restaurant. Freddy is a fan of films like"A Nightmare On Elm Street", so he is excited about seeing it .
After settling their cash, they head out to Freddy's Pizza at the night that he is scheduled to begin his show. They are dressed up to impress, as Freddy is a very famous artist. The doors of the office are open, but as Jason and Billy rush in, Freddy catches them. Jason and Billy operate out, while Freddy opens the doors of his office. Indoors, Freddy takes his mask off, revealing his true identity - Freddy Kruger.
Freddy immediately begins to attack Jason and Billy. Freddy uses his magic powers to turn people to stone or to make other objects move on their own - like a truck ahead of Jason. He also makes Jason feel sick. Freddy also utilizes his ability to restrain people, such as when he makes Jason believes he's having a heart attack.
Freddy is even more frightening when he touches Jason, turning him into a sword. Jason is able to fight back, but by using his special powers of telekinesis and his voice. Jason manages to catch Freddy, but Freddy uses his ability to throw Jason into a different dimension. Jason gets his memory back and heads straight back to Freddy's Pizza.
However, Freddy comes with an ulterior motive - to get back at Jason and Billy for kidnapping him and breaking his heart. If Jason kills Billy or Jason, he'll get a trophy. So, Jason and Billy visit the pizzeria to find their killer...
Five nights in Freddy's turns the regular point and click action game in the previous games to some full-scale terror experience. The graphics are amazing. The sound is excellent. The voice acting is superb. However, there are some glitches in the storyline.
Freddy is always around, but he attacks Jason or Billy. Freddy is simply a backdrop character. Jason and Billy find out that the animatronic dolls are in fact fake, which Freddy has a grudge against them. Jason and Billy have to find out what happened on Freddy and stop him before it's too late.
While the narrative of Five Nights in Freddy's is a fascinating one, it may not be the best one around. Because of the way the game was put together, the events that happen may seem unnecessary or confusing initially. However, once the narrative and the characters are explained and the plot begins to fall in fnaf 4 game to place, the game starts to make sense.
